This is my third year at the middle school level and is by far my favorite! I taught 8th grade ELAR for one year and this is my second year to teach 8th science.

I left the teaching profession for 5 years to run my family's business. We built a very successful company in Iowa Park and all the surrounding areas.

I began my teaching career as a 1st/2nd grade teacher at Huey Montessori. I transferred to 4th/5th grade math and eventually we opened Scotland Park Elementary and taught 5th grade in all subjects.

My Story
My name is Dana Bishop and I’ll be your child’s science teacher. I teach 8th grade Science, and I’m currently preparing to become an assistant principal & principal. I finished my master’s degree in the spring and I’m preparing for the exams. I look forward to getting to know your child and helping every student enjoy coming to Science class. I have two children. Marleah has her own dessert business and Ayden is a freshman at IP High School. I have 14 years of teaching experience. I love teaching at the middle school level!
